How can Teens make a Difference?

We are teens, we’re still in high school, but we are part of the next generation who will be entering the workforce and entering adulthood. We can break the cycle and make a difference.

We can help be part of the solution towards what feminism means, why it matters, and actively participate in behaviors that promote equality.

Feminism

Belief in the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes.

Sexual Harassment

harassment (typically of a woman) in a workplace, or other professional or social situation, involving the making of unwanted sexual advances or obscene remarks.

Rape Culture

Half the world’s Potential

Why does gender equality matter?

“Women and girls represent half of the world’s population and therefore also half of its potential. But, today gender inequality persists everywhere and stagnates social progress.” Source:  United Nations / un.org
